Members of W.I.T.C.H. (Women’s International Terrorist Conspiracy from Hell) stage an action, c. 1968–70. Source unknown.

Join the discussion today, June 25,

at 6pm EDT

Reminder there will be a live circle today.

Witchcraft in any folk tradition is not standardized by the very essence of its being. It’s a fluid, rhizomatic, improvisational set of practices and systems that are linked to the landscape and ancestral spirits of place.

In Southern Italy there is no, single, homogenous witchcraft tradition, but rather multiple traditions, based in lineage and originating back to the first humans and their contacts with the forces of magic, nature and the divine.

Topics of discussion for our meeting today

  • Sirens and Angels

  • The Parthenogenetic Priestesses

  • The Janara of Benevento

  • The Magara of Calabria

  • The Majaria of Sicily

  • The cult of Isis in Benevento

  • The Cult of Diana

There will be open discussion and Q and A!

This will be recording and posted here on substack.

Hope you can join us!

Everyone who attends the meeting has to subscribe at the $8 per month level. You can cancel anytime.
